Air conditioning loses refrigerant gradually, so a system that was ice-cold two summers ago may barely cool today. We recover the old gas, vacuum the system to check for leaks, and regas with the correct refrigerant for your car — R134a or the newer R1234yf. A UV dye can be added to trace slow leaks, and we recommend an antibacterial treatment together with a cabin filter replacement to remove musty smells from the vents. You leave with cold air and a system pressure report.
